Totally bizarre looking things: Scientist on Mongolian dinosaur
Fossils of a new dinosaur species, having two-fingered hands, were unearthed in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia. Darla Zelenitsky, an associate professor at the University of Calgary in Canada, reacted to the discovery, saying, "They call them the sloths of...Cretaceous period-totally bizarre looking things." The species belonged to a group of plant-eating dinosaurs known for their strange appearance.
