New Governors appointed to 12 states, list released

President Droupadi Murmu has appointed new Governors to 12 states and a new Lieutenant-Governor to Ladakh. Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan was appointed Governor of Meghalaya while Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Arlekar was deputed to Bihar. Former Supreme Court judge Justice S Abdul Nazeer was appointed as Andhra Pradesh's Governor while Ramesh Bais was named the new Maharashtra Governor.
