New Income Tax Bill to be brought next week: FM Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in her Union Budget speech that BJP-led Centre will bring a new Income Tax bill next week. She said government has implemented reforms for convenience of taxpayers. These measures include faceless assessment, taxpayer charter, faster returns, etc, Sitharaman said, adding, "I reaffirm the commitment of the tax department to trust first, scrutinise later."
