New India Co-operative Bank's ex-General Manager booked over ₹122 crore fraud

The Mumbai Police has filed a case against former General Manager of New India Co-operative Bank Hitesh Mehta for allegedly committing fraud of ₹122 crore. Mehta reportedly withdrew the amount from the accounts of the Dadar and Goregaon branches while he held the post, police said. Police also suspect that another person was involved in the scam.
