New Japanese PM Suga urges Putin to resolve territorial dispute

Newly elected Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga told Russian President Vladimir Putin that he wants to settle the territorial dispute between the two countries over a group of islands and sign a peace treaty. "I told [Putin] that...we shouldn't leave...territorial problem to the next generations and put an end to it ourselves," Suga told reporters after talking with the Russian leader.
