New lab spinal cord model shows promise for nerve repair

Scientists have created lab-grown human spinal cord models to study injury and healing. Using a therapy called dancing molecules, they reduced scar tissue, eased inflammation, and encouraged nerve fibres to regrow. The research shows damaged nerves may repair themselves, offering promising possibilities for future treatments to improve recovery after spinal cord injuries.
