New Lady Justice statue without blindfold installed in Supreme Court

A new statue of the Lady Justice has been installed in the judges' library in the Supreme Court. The new statue, commissioned at the orders of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, is without a blindfold, and the Constitution has replaced the sword in the statue's left hand. It's reportedly being seen as a move to leave colonial legacy behind.
