New Navi Mumbai franchise joins T20 Mumbai League for ₹106 crore

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has expanded its T20 Mumbai League with the addition of ninth team. The new team representing Navi Mumbai region will be operated by Aspects Sports, while the franchise operating rights were awarded for ₹106.88 crores over a six-year period, with ₹12.21 crore for the first season. The league was launched in 2018.
