New parking policy approved for B'luru, aims to adopt a pay-and-park system

Karnataka government has approved a new parking policy for Bengaluru that aims to decongest the city's roads and seeks to adopt a pay-and-park system for residents who park outside their homes. The policy states that while a permit system will be adopted for allotting designated parking zones near the homes of residents, it won't guarantee a parking spot.
