New pictures shared by Chandrayaan-3 show craters on Moon
The ISRO on Tuesday shared new pictures of the Moon captured by the Chandrayaan-3 a day before its expected landing attempt. The images were taken by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) from an altitude of about 70 km, the ISRO said. They show various craters on the lunar surface such as Goddard, Ibn Yunus, Brunner and Hirayama.
