New record for talking via brain implant set at 62 words a minute: US researchers

Researchers at Stanford University in US have claimed that a new record has been set for communicating thoughts to words through a brain implant. According to their study, a 67-year-old woman who lost her power of speech because of ALS was able to communicate via implant at a rate of 62 words per minute, 3.4 times faster than previous record.
