New rules allow passengers to cancel flight tickets for no extra charge within 48 hours of booking

DGCA has revised air ticket refund norms. The DGCA stated, "The airlines shall provide 'Look-in option' for a period of 48 hours after booking ticket. During this period, passengers can cancel or amend tickets without any additional charges." This isn't available for flights with departure less than 7 days (domestic flights) and 15 days (international flights) from booking date.
