A new sleep apnea pill reduced symptoms by 44 per cent in clinical trials, offering hope for patients unable to tolerate CPAP machines. Researchers say the experimental drug, AD109, may provide a simpler treatment option for obstructive sleep apnea by helping keep airways open during sleep.
