US-based researchers have developed smart clothing, including gloves and socks, capable of monitoring Parkinson's disease patients. The clothing material is embedded with sensors which measure tremors and rigidity, the common symptoms of the neurological disease. The sensors relay all the data to the connected cell phone, which processes the data and can help the doctors manage treatment plans.
