New snake species named after Hollywood actor Harrison Ford

A new snake species has been named Tachymenoides harrisonfordi, after Hollywood actor Harrison Ford in honour of his environmental dedication. The snake, 16 inches long, was found in the Andes Mountains. "These scientists keep naming critters after me...I don't understand," Ford said. Other species named after Ford include an ant (Pheidole harrisonfordi) and a spider (Calponia harrisonfordi).
