New species of Allosaurus discovered in USA's Utah

A new species of meat-eating dinosaurs, the Allosaurus, has been unveiled at the Natural History Museum of Utah. The carnivore, officially named Allosaurus jimmadseni, inhabited the flood plains of western North America during the Late Jurassic Period, between 152-157 million years ago. The new species of Allosaurus had a short narrow skull with low facial crests.
