New species of beetle dubbed 'punk beetle' discovered in Australia

James Tweed, a researcher from The University of Queensland in Australia, has discovered a new species of fluffy longhorn beetle. Tweed nearly mistook the insect, dubbed by some as "punk beetle", for bird droppings. Tweed said that the hair on the insect make it look like it's been killed by an insect-killing fungus.
