New species of big-brained ancient humans discovered

A team of researchers, led by Professor Christopher J Bae from University of Hawai'i and Xiujie Wu from Chinese Academy of Sciences, announced the discovery of a new species of ancient humans in Northern China. The researchers named the species 'Homo juluensis' and its distinct features include big brains. Homo juluensis lived approximately 3,00,000 years ago in eastern Asia.
