New species of Darwin wasp from Mexico named 'Stethantyx covida'

Scientists recently discovered five new species of parasitoid wasps in Mexico and named one of them 'Stethantyx covida'. The species was discovered by two scientists during the 2020 global quarantine period imposed due to COVID-19. It belongs to the Darwin wasp family Ichneumonidae which comprises more than 25,000 species worldwide.
