New spider species found in Maha named after 26/11 martyr Tukaram Omble

A new species of spider, Icius tukarami, has been named after Mumbai Police Assistant Sub-Inspector Tukaram Omble, who was martyred in the 26/11 terror attack. As per the research paper, two new spider species have been discovered in Maharashtra. Notably, Omble was posthumously honoured with the Ashoka Chakra in January 2009.
