New strain of bacteria found on Chinese space station

Chinese scientists discovered a new strain of bacteria, named Niallia tiangongensis, on Tiangong space station, according to a new study. This new strain has ingenious mechanisms for adapting to the extreme space environment and was found on a cabin on the space station. The new strain was found to have better ability to combat oxidative stress and reverse radiation-induced damage.
