New study that predicts earthquakes using geophones

Scientists from IIT Guwahati have created a vital tool to analyse earthquakes in Northern Bihar. By using seismic waves they can predict ground shaking. This non-invasive technology has mapped the earth down to 30 metres, ensuring that the region's weak soil does not cost thousands of lives during an actual earthquake.
