New surgery technique removes brain tumour through nasal route

Indian-American Army surgeon Major Jagatkumar Patel and neurosurgeon Lt. Col. Charles Miller developed a minimally invasive technique to remove brain tumours without opening the skull. Using a nasal route and an endoscopic camera, they successfully removed a large pituitary tumour from a patient, helping achieve faster recovery with fewer complications compared to traditional surgery.
