New Tunisian decree imposes 5-yr prison term for 'fake news'

Tunisia's President Kais Saied has issued a decree which imposes a jail term of up to 5 years for convictions in spreading "fake news" cases. The decree is defined as "using communication networks and information systems...to...send false information or rumours". The law says the jail term could be raised up to 10 years if the fake news targets top officials.
