New US sanctions will make Ukraine peace deal harder, warns Russia

Reacting to US' Russia sanctions bill, the Kremlin said, "It falls ​under the category of unfriendly actions...the ​imposition of any additional sanctions by the US would certainly complicate efforts to find a peace settlement in Ukraine." The bill would authorise President Donald Trump to impose 100% tariffs on countries buying Russian oil and gas. It is awaiting Trump's signature.
