New Year for hindus to begin on the 9th April 2024

Did you know that according to the Hindu calendar, 1st January, isn't the New Year. The Hindu New Year is celebrated on the first day of the Shukla Paksha of the Chaitra month, which falls in March or April. The Hindu calendar, known as the Panchanga, is a traditional lunar-solar calendar system followed in India and by Hindus worldwide.
