New Zealand introduces work visa subcategory for seasonal workers

New Zealand is launching a new subcategory under the Specific Purpose Work Visa to meet seasonal workforce demands. This change, alongside an increased cap for the Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme, aims to streamline access to seasonal workers. Roles must be seasonal, require four months of experience, and pay at least $29.66 per hour for up to nine months.
