New Zealand jobs hit 14-month high despite US-Iran war

New Zealand's economy continued to add jobs in March, with filled jobs rising 0.3% to 2.35 million, the highest in 14 months, Statistics New Zealand said. Employment increased by 14,600 from recent July low but remained nearly 39,000 lower than two years ago. The gains follow support from low interest rates that boosted business and consumer optimism before war began.
