Newborn dies after woman gives birth in a toilet in UP hospital

A newborn baby died after a pregnant woman, who was apparently denied admission, gave birth in a toilet in Lala Lajpat Rai hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The newborn had reportedly slipped and the head got stuck in the toilet, following which the hospital staff broke the toilet but by then the infant had died. A probe has been ordered.
