Newly married woman attacked by monkey, dies after falling

A twenty-four-year-old woman died after falling from a hilltop temple in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi district on Friday. The individual and her husband were visiting the shrine when a large group of monkeys suddenly surrounded them while they were feeding fruits. Reports stated that the woman panicked, lost her footing, and fell down the steep hillside.
