Newlywed couple fired by Vatican bank for flouting workplace marriage ban

A newlywed couple was fired by the Vatican Bank after they violated a rule banning marriage between employees at the workplace. The couple, who have three children, got married in August and were given 30 days for one of them to resign so the other could keep their job. Their employment agreement was terminated after their deadline to resign expired.
