Newly-wed don Ashok Mahto's wife defeated by Lalan Singh in Bihar

Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh) has won elections from Bihar's Munger for second consecutive time. The JD(U) leader defeated RJD's Anita Kumari by 80,870 votes. Notably, 62-year-old don Ashok Mahto married 46-year-old Anita in March. Reports claimed he married her before elections as he himself couldn't contest polls since he has spent over two years in jail as a convict.
