Next is 'Samudrayaan': Kiren Rijiju on pics of 'MATSYA 6000' submersible

Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of Earth Sciences, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to share pictures of the under-construction 'MATSYA 6000' submersible. "Next is 'Samudrayaan'," the minister tweeted. India's first manned Deep Ocean Mission 'Samudrayaan' plans to send 3 humans to 6 km ocean depth in a submersible to study the deep sea resources and biodiversity assessment.
