NGO volunteer accused of violating lockdown in Hyderabad acquitted

A man working as an NGO volunteer, who was accused of violating COVID-19 lockdown in Hyderabad in March 2020, has been acquitted. According to his counsel, the NGO was engaged in COVID-19 relief work and the man had a permit issued by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Granting acquittal, the court noted that the man wasn't diagnosed with COVID-19.
