NGT seeks UP govt's response on plea over 'open defecation' at Maha Kumbh

The National Green Tribunal has sought the Uttar Pradesh government's response to a plea alleging a lack of adequate sanitation facilities at Maha Kumbh leading to open defecation on the banks of the Ganga river at Maha Kumbh Mela. The applicant, who filed the plea, also submitted a pen drive containing video clips of open defecation, Live Law reported.
