NH-5 slope protection nears completion ahead of monsoon

Commuters travelling along the critical Parwanoo-Solan-Kaithlighat section of National Highway-5 can expect a significantly safer journey this monsoon, with slope protection works nearing completion across the landslide-prone corridor. The project, launched in September 2024, covers 44 vulnerable locations along the 61-km Parwanoo-Kaithlighat stretch and involves an investment of ₹100.45 crore.
