NHAI, NCAER set up transport economics research centre

NHAI and NCAER have signed an MoU to establish India's first independent Centre for Economics of Transportation, Mobility and Logistics. The centre will conduct research on highways, freight, tolling, road safety and logistics to support evidence-based policymaking. Its findings will help improve transport planning, infrastructure investment and operational efficiency.
