NHM advises on signs that could be stroke symptoms

The National Health Mission (NHM) advises using the BACHAV formula to spot warning signs of stroke: arm weakness, facial drooping, speech difficulty and the need for quick action. Stroke, or brain attack, occurs when blood flow to the brain is blocked, damaging brain cells. Early hospital treatment can prevent severe damage and improve survival chances.
