NHPC to boost capacity by 800 MW, aiming for 6,251 MW total

NHPC Limited, a leading hydroelectric power generation company in India, has announced plans to expand its installed capacity by 800 MW, from 5,451 MW currently to 6,251 MW by the next fiscal year. Additionally, the company's regulated equity is expected to increase from 12,884 MW to 16,632 MW by FY 2026-27, an expansion of 3,748 MW.
