NHRC issues notices to Bihar, UP after bodies found floating in Ganga

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued notices to the Union Jal Shakti Ministry, and the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, after several dead bodies were found floating in the Ganga river in the two states. NHRC said that the authorities failed in their duties and that this can affect people who depend on Ganga for daily activities.
