NHRC notice over students falling ill after mid-day meal in Bihar

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has asked Bihar government to report within four weeks as 150 students fell ill after having mid-day meals at a school in West Champaran on June 1. It appeared that the food was being cooked in unhygienic way, NHRC said. It said if the reports are true, it amounted to violation of children's human rights.
