NHRC takes cognisance of attack on journalist Ruchi Tiwari

NHRC member Priyank Kanoongo has taken suo motu cognisance of the attack on journalist Ruchi Tiwari at a protest demanding the implementation of new UGC regulations at Delhi University. "The miscreants will be dealt with as per the law...we will not tolerate the insult to women under any circumstances," Priyank posted on X. Police have filed FIR in the case.
