NIA accuses 31 in judicial officers hostage case in WB's Malda

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) named 31 people in its chargesheet linked to illegal detention of judicial officers during SIR exercise in West Bengal's Malda ahead of the Assembly Elections. NIA added the accused blocked public roads "in a coordinated manner" before illegal detention of the officers. Seven judicial officers had been held hostage for nine hours on April 1.
