Nicole Kidman training to be 'death doula' after mother's passing

Nicole Kidman revealed that she's training to become a 'death doula', after the passing of her 84-year-old mother in May 2024. A death doula is a "non-medical companion" who provides support as individuals navigate death and mortality. Explaining her decision, she said, "As my mother was passing, she was lonely, and there was only so much the family could provide."
