Nifty IT falls 1.6%, extends 7-day losing streak; Sensex down 150 points

The Nifty IT index fell 1.62% on June 11, extending its losing streak to seven consecutive sessions, and declined 10.6% during this period. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex fell 150.63 points, or 0.20%, to close at 73,832.55, and fell as much as 500 points intraday. Infosys and HCL Tech were the biggest losers, falling 2.6% and 2.8%, respectively.
