Nigerian army rescues 360 hostages held in mountains by Boko Haram

Nigeria's army said it rescued 360 men, women and children held deep in the Mandara mountains after being kidnapped by militant group Boko Haram. Two infants died due to exhaustion from the harsh conditions of the environment they were held in. The army added that Boko Haram had demanded a ransom of millions of Nigerian naira for the captives.
