Night curfew imposed in France amid violent protests

France announced partial curfews in several northern cities for Monday and Tuesday nights after the country was rocked by some of its worst street violence in years. French PM Sebastien Lecornu said that if declaring a state ​of emergency was deemed necessary, "we could do so". France is witnessing violent protests over rising cost of living and declining public services.
