Nine of top-10 firms lose ₹2.74 lakh crore in market value in 1 week

Nine of India's 10 most valuable companies lost a combined ₹2.74 lakh crore in market value last week amid a sharp fall in equities. HDFC Bank recorded the biggest erosion, while Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, SBI, TCS, Bajaj Finance, LIC and L&T also saw declines. Hindustan Unilever was the only gainer.
