Nintendo sues go-kart firm that lets people dress as Mario

Kyoto-based gaming major Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against Tokyo-based go-kart company MariCar which lets customers dress as Nintendo characters like Super Mario and Luigi. "To protect the valuable intellectual property we have nurtured over many years of hard work, we will continue to take tough measures," said Nintendo. The lawsuit reportedly seeks damages of about ₹60 lakh.
