Nio stock rises amid plans to launch EVs in Australia, New Zealand

Nio shares rose premarket after the Chinese EV maker announced plans to launch in Australia and New Zealand in the second half of 2026, expanding into markets where Tesla already has a strong presence. The company also plans to enter Thailand in March, saying overseas moves are made only when commercial viability is assured.
